I photographed this lovely family in Ridgefield 17 years ago with the parents and the 2 boys. The family has grown wonderfully with wives and an adorable little boy. They even have the framed photograph up from all those years ago! It’s so great to see my clients at different times in their lives and help them preserve the special memories of being together.
I hope we all continue to enjoy wonderful times with friends and family in 2012!
I photographed this lovely extended family in Southbury, CT. The children are all so adorable and
easy to photograph! The portrait session included some business portraits to be used for publicity.
Greg and Paulina got married 3 weeks after their wonderful engagement party at Le Chateau. They had a classic “City Hall” wedding in NYC on a beautiful day, 2 days before Hurricane Irene! You would never know that a hurricane was coming! They were surrounded by family in City Hall for their ceremony. We had time to have a fun photo shoot on the streets of NY and the Brooklyn Bridge before they needed to join the others at the restaurant.
Greg and Paulina had a beautiful day at Le Chateau in Westchester County, NY for their engagement party Saturday. The weather held up for them, so the cocktail hour in the garden was tranquil and incredibly scenic. A trio of classical musicians and superb horsdeavres by Le Chateau combined with their closest family and friends (about 100 guests!) made for an exquisite afternoon. I will be back photographing Greg and Paulina for their wedding coming up later this month in Manhattan!
Laura and Joe had the most perfect day for their wedding at the beautiful Lounsbury House in Ridgefield,CT. This was such a Ridgefield event, as Laura is so well known in town as a realtor for William Pitt/Sotheby’s and Joe is the owner of my favorite market, Ancona’s, in Branchville. Laura was such a stunning bride, and Joe and his best man, cousin Mitch Ancona, and the groomsmen, Laura’s 3 boys, all looked so handsome. Laura’s Maid of Honor and wedding planner, Christy Kinsman, who also looked gorgeous in her gown, is known in Ridgefield both for owning “The Gilded Nest” interior design store in Branchville, and also as a colorist and stager for real estate with impeccable taste in decorating. The little flower girl was Mitch’s daughter, Alex.
The food at the wedding was catered by Ancona’s, which did a fabulous job, and the music was just what everyone wanted to hear, by the house band from the Levitt Pavillion in Westport. The bride and groom even contributed their own talents with Laura singing a number and Joe playing guitar for one.
I had the wonderful opportunity and meet and photograph 6 year old Elizabeth for Habitat for Humanity. She is full of personality, and had lots of great ideas for our photo shoot, especially with her stuffed animal collection and her princess dress. Thank you Elizabeth and mom!
Happy Father’s Day!
Julie and Eric had a beautiful wedding yesterday at Le Chateau. They had
a very meaningful traditional Jewish ceremony under a lovely Chupah
decorated with flowers from Cheshire Tree Florists, as well as a
Tallis which was a gift from the bride to the groom. Such a great
couple, so in love, and a fun wedding for all.
